Hello, I have just installed LongVinter on a dedicated Windows server, I installed it in a vanilla way and it launches well as indicated in the documentation...

Hello,
Correction, I managed to connect to the server via the server id that can be retrieved from the list of LAN servers and my friends could join also in LAN and remotely.

The server is now active and online but it is not displayed in the list of servers.

Do you have an idea?

Try running the server shortcut as an administrator.

You also may not be able to see your server in the server list on your own machine/network so have a friend or external party check for you.

I already do that, nothing change.

My Friends don’t see server in list like me.

I don’t know why we can’t see it, i do other installation on other pc and do same problem.

As a temporary test try turning off Windows Firewall and wait a bit and see if it shows up. Maybe for about half an hour or so.

Remember to turn it back on after you’re done testing.

Hello, indeed I started with that not knowing if another port was required for its distribution given that steam can use a port higher or lower than those requested but nothing changes, at the firewall level it is not impacted, at the router level I also tried to open the largest range possible and nothing changes.

Hm, so far there is nothing obvious and according to the logs, the server was able to connect to steam 🤔
Sorry, no idea what can be done any further 🙁

Wouldn’t the firewall cause this issue if the ports are not allowed inbound?

The server works well, we all play on it (local and remote) but it does not want to be displayed in the list of servers, we can only with the direct address.

We will see in the future if this changes.

The ports are open and as said before the firewall has even been disabled, also for the router and this does not change anything.

JimStotelmayer maybe your ISP is blocking the ports, so even if you port forwarded, the ports are still not exposed to the internet. This is what happened to me, and I cannot be bothered contacting them as they have poor customer service.
