I decided to post this updated version here, even though the mod might become obsolete pretty soon if character customization gets added to the game.
This mod allows you to change the background color of your name.

how do you run it
Curious_Cat Mods are now using a different system, these were mods implemented using an unofficial loader now we have official modding support.
