I am compiling a collection of screenshots on vendors but remember these prices change the more you use them.
First off is Mrs. Snows, which is the usual starting point for new servers. Here is the best place to sell some easy to find Epic fish such as the Rainbow Trout and Trout.
S24 E2 - Mrs. Snow’s Outpost
Next up is Arthur’s Outpost just to the left of your starting location, this is your best spot to get a tent as it is the cheapest spot to rely on a tent. You will stumble across tents cheaper sometimes, maybe another player is selling them in their vending machine or you will come across one in a raid spot. If all else fails you can rely on Arthur to cover you
S25 E17- Arthur’s Outpost
Your closest spot from here is technically not Filemon’s Outpost however by land mass it is so we will go here next, On your way from Arthur’s to here you will cross paths with a fire to refill your energy, maybe stop to catch and cook some fish for your journey. There are also some raid spots you can hit, the first one has a J mart to sell your loose wears.
Filemon’s Outpost is a forgettable spot (hence me slotting this in here after forgetting it). You can sell berries a bit higher than elsewhere but nothing major. You can also literally set your MK on fire for some ammo if you’re desperate.
S14 E26 - Filemon’s Outpost
Jump off the Dock at Filemon, swimming direct South and you’ll shortly stumble onto Pix’s Island, the cheapest boat journey on Longvinter and the weirdest Vendor in the game. This is the only spot that grows Mezereon berries in the wild and also has two small raid boxes. You’ll also find the Misty and Black Grouper fish to the top right of the island with Trout and Salmon to the bottom left.
The vendor here only trades for Mysterious Bags, which you’ll find while raiding.
S23 E30 - Pix
From here you can catch a boat to Heimo and Rose which is the best spot to sell Whitefish which can be caught in the big lake directly north of Sgt. Lakes Outpost where we will be going after. I used Heimo and Rose a lot early game as its a spot you can both catch and sell the Rainbow Trout as well as being close to other spots for catching the Rainbow Trout and normal Trout. If you ever need any flowers as well here is your best spot to find all the common flowers.
N2 - E25 - Heimo & Rose
On your way to the next spot don’t forget to hit your raid spots and then at Sirola’s Secret Shop you’ll find a Mystery Machine that usually has nothing of interest but sometimes you can find some Ammo for between 400 and 600 MK. Otherwise you can chill here and raise your energy at the campfire before selling your feathers for a really nice profit. You can also trade a Mysterious Bag for ammo.
What to expect from Julia’s Mysterious Shop which regularly stocks ammo and health potions.
N10 E8 - Sirola’s Secret Shop
Now to the star of the show, the spot you will gravitate back to for selling and buying throughout the game as well as special trading from completing the collections. You have 4 vendors, 3 NPC vendors and a J mart (James General Store) here. While at this outpost you can refuel, fish and cook in a safe space, it’s a nice spot to meet friends and find players willing to help newbies.
First Vendor is red and just up the ramp, Kyrre has everything you need to furnish your home inside and out as well as getting your crafting and cooking book which are recommended to start, I also recommend getting a fireplace here for healing and cooking in your home. You can find work benches cheaper or free while out and about so I usually don’t buy one here.
Next to there is a green(ish) vendor’s called A’s Farming where you can sell your berries for a better price and once you unlock all the berries you can chat to Angel herself for selling your Cloudberries at the highest price, as well as a few other special items. I won’t be sharing special vendors for spoiler reasons so you can unlock these yourself following the Map at the bottom of this article.
The final Vendor here is Sgt. Lake’s Kitchen where you can sell any fish for a reasonable price (much better than J mart) so this is a great spot for newbies to catch and sell their fish for some MK.
S12 W6 - Sgt. Lakes Outpost
From here I would normally go to Tim’s Outpost as its on the same land but that takes us a mile away from the closest spot so we will start with Henry’s fishing dock and work our way up from there. Wait… this place has great fish prices also! I never come here because its out of the way quite a bit and doesn’t have a docked boat. Although you can get a boat here you can’t get one back out, it’s also not close to any good fishing spots or much else. I wouldn’t recommend settling a tent here as it’s actually a bit annoying getting back and forth from this land mass.
S19 W24 - Henry’s Fishing docks
Straight North from the docks you’ll get to Jax’s Outpost. On your way is a Raid spot with a J mart and some collectables such as berries and Turkey’s for feathers. At Jax’s you can find a decent priced Hatchet for chopping trees which you will need for collecting wood to settle a house and build things such as fences. Not much else but selling your berries for a decent price and buying some overpriced ammo.
S12 24W - Jax’s Outpost
Finally head straight north (over the river) and you’ll find Tim’s Outpost which isn’t much craziness, just he usual however there is also a J mart here for selling your loose wears or buying others. I liked having a home close-ish to Tim’s as you can wild sugar beats here for making potions and you’re close to the winter spots for feather hunting and raiding. See the map at the end of the article for raid spots.
N3 W24 - Tim’s Outpost
The final vendor is simply Diago’s Docks which is the most expensive spot to get to in game due to it being new land with later game collectables. If you want to save yourself the 899MK just cook up some fish and swim from Tim’s outpost directly West until you hit land. The rarer the fish the more energy it fills, a Trout or two should be enough but make sure you leave with full energy because if you die in water you can’t get your loot back.
There are 2 vendors at the dock, one is blue and is called Filemon’s Feathers where you will get the most MK for selling your feathers. The next is Kyrre’s Equipment which stocks all the same gear as you will find at Sgt. Lakes Outpost.
You will also find here a camp fire, a J mart and Julia’s Mysterios Shop.
S10 W37 - Diago’s Docks
Well, that’s it. A complete list of the vendors in Longvinter’s map of 1.0.8 Beta. I will not likely update this with each update as so far the vendors have not changed drastically. I made this article mostly for myself to keep track as I could not for the life of me find a guide to selling and buying. Hopefully this has helped you and if you have any changes to suggest drop them in the comments to help other players.
