Game not launching, problem unknown

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I purchased Longvinter on Steam. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to play yet since the game isn’t starting

When I start the game the small ‘Waiting for game’-screen pops up. This screen disappears after ~ 30 seconds and at that point the Steam play button changes from ‘Cancel’ to ‘Play’ again, indicating the game fully closed.

I tried the following things already:

Updating graphics card drivers
Updating Windows 10
Restart the game
Restart my PC
Verifying integrity of game files
Reinstalling the game
Temporary turning off my firewall / anti virus

I still would love to play this game and I think it would be a shame if I have to refund it. Is there anyone who can help me out with this issue?
