Hello! Here are some of my suggestion for future improvements.
PvE. As it stands, after some 10 hours spent gaming, you are pretty much set up and have everything you want and need. At that point, you no longer need to go out looting and exploring, but are left to simply defend that which you own. There has been talk already on the roadmap that there is a plan to add hostile creatures, but I think it would be pretty cool to go even further.
Why not generate an entirely new island, with hostile NPC’s defending their compounds, with amazing loot. You cannot place any tents on this island, so it makes farming it far more difficult. The hostile NPCs are a constant threat, as are other fortune-seeking players.
Electricity. The new addition of electricity is really cool, however as it stands, it limits you to 2 turrets per house (Sustainable path), 3 turrets during the daytime. Sadly, that is far from enough to protect your stuff, and raiding is so easy now that it is not worth putting anything outside your house, more or less. I suggest adding a way to generate more electricity. So how about:
Solar Array: Add 2 Solar panels, 1 battery, 1 copper wire, to the crafting table to make a Solar Array. The Solar Array takes up 1 tile and can be placed outside to add +10 or +20 to your overall electricity. Sustainable path.
Generator: Add 2 metal parts, 1 titanium ingot, 1 battery, to the crafting table to make a Generator. The Generator takes up 1 tile can be placed outside to add +10 or +20 to your overall electricity. Fuel path.
This way, you have the option to add more electricity to your house, if you are willing to sacrifice outside space for these new improvements. Less space for farming, but more electricity, so you can have more turrets. These improvements can however be destroyed, so they also have to be protected.
Anyways, those are just some of my thoughts for now. Adding a party option so you can always see the names of those in your party would be amazing, but I believe that is already on the roadmap. 🙂
